PUMPKINS!

 Today Sophie and I ventured out to the pumpkin patches here in town and just had a ball! She is in love with pumpkins as am I!

 The weather was perfect

 and was able to get some great shots of the pumpkins!

 But my most favorite little pumpkin grabbed the attention of just about everyone she passed by! These are just a few of the many great pictures I captured today! Enjoy and hope everyone gets a chance to get some great pics of their littles around the pumpkins!

My World!

I mean seriously, could she be any cuter?!?!? I love this little girl to death and just watching her grow up is enough for me! This was at this past weeks football games. Go Raiders!

There was just something about this picture that just broke me down. Maybe it was the way the light hit her face, I don't know. But, the feeling of JOY comes to me. A child's innocents is such a beautiful thing, I mean seriously; she was so happy she was able to bring her hand puppet (lamb lamb) to life! I think I learn more about life from her than she learns from me.

She has taught me to dream, love hard, and to find peace with what is in front of me. I sometimes forget to just look at the picture that God has given me and just smile. Smile because I am Blessed, smiles because I am safe in His way, smile because He is in control.

If I have learned anything from my daughter is that it is vital to be full of Joy. Joy saves, Joy cures. In every ray of sunlight, every smile, every act of kindness, or love, every trifling service -Joy.

Blessed, Busy & Potty training!

The past couple of weeks have been VERY busy! With my husband back at work, I'm back to the 'single parent' phase of my year. Sophia is still in a potty training stage and it seems that every time I decided to sit down and write it's time for the potty! She is doing well! We skipped the training pants and went straight to the panties and it has been a successful transition! It absolutely crazy how fast see is growing, everyday there is a new discovery, idea, word, and smile that comes out of her!

The joy I see in her just makes us want another child. They are such amazing Blessings that God gives, why wouldn't we want another!

My family and I since January have been going to a new church South Side Baptist Church in Weatherford, tx. and it has absolutely changed our lives. We still haven't committed to becoming members there only for the fact that we know we are going to move and just not sure if we will be able to make the drive back and forth every Sunday and Wednesday, But I would give anything to become a member there! I have learned there that the real secret to living a separated life is that God crowds out of our lives everything that should be in our lives. As Christ increases, the other things decrease. The church has put a fire in us to learn and grow in Christ. I feel like he broke things up in my life to cause me to seek Him, and I absolutely did! Sophia has learned so much from us because of what we have learn from them, and that is one of the greatest blessings God has ever given me.

Ok, I have REALLY neglected my blog... Ooops! Lets just chalk it up to life kinda getting in the way! But I'm determined to get back at it.

Everyday Sophie and I do arts and crafts, it's our favorite part of the day. I love seeing her use her imagination and learn something new!

She gets a little frustrated with me when I don't actually participate in drawing with her especially when all I want to do is document all of her cuteness!

 

My main reason for this blog was to showcase some of my photography. Not only do I want to continue that but I also want to glorify God in doing so. He is the reason for all my Blessings and this amazing life he has given me to live. I am not the same person as I was 10 years ago, I'm not even the same person I was 2 years ago. I have grown to know and love Christ and want to live a life that will only glorify HIM. I feel great to be back in the blogging world. See ya soon!
